We now offer a day camper option for ages 6-12.
What activities should my child expect?
Each day camper will have opportunity for physical activity play, swimming, canoeing, fishing, craft project, 9-hole miniature golf, Bible lessons, friendship/team building activities.
How much activity should my child anticipate?
Day campers should expect moderate physical activities. We encourage children to enjoy supervised outdoor exploration and play. Our typical daily schedule:
- 8:00a Drop off at Andrews Memorial Readiness School
- 8:30a Departure shuttle to Camp Deerlake
- 9:00a Morning Bible Study
- 9:30a Activity
- 10:00a Girls swim, Boys lake
- 11:00a Boys swim, Girls lake
- 12:00p Mealtime (please pack lunch)
- 12:30p Living storybook
- 1:00p Free time (minature golf, gaga ball, game room)
- 2:00p Craft/Camp Skill
- 2:30p Free time Activity
- 3:00p Snack shop
- 4:00p Missionary story
- 4:15p Return shuttle to Andrews Memorial Readiness School
Early pick up at Camp Deerlake may be arranged. Please notify camp staff of early pick up time.
What about field trips? Will my child have off campus opportunities?
Field trips may be available, but limited. Field trips are not covered in weekly registration and will require additional expense.
What should my child bring each day?
Please send your day camper with appropriate swimwear, water shoes, change of clothes, packed lunch, and spending money for snack shop items.
What about overnight stay options?
Camp Deerlake day campers ages 8-12 will also have guaranteed dormitory reservation the weeks of junior camp (June 23-27/July 21-25). All day campers not staying overnight in the dormitory will participate in day activities planned for junior campers.
What is the weekly cost?
Day camp registration, $160 (field trip activity requires additional cost). Weekly registration due at beginning of each week. Due to staff scheduling requirements, weekly registration non-refundable. Minimum 3 weeks registration required.
